Qualifications

• BS degree or equivalent required.
• 7+ years in automotive product development.
• Experience managing design, sourcing, or cost analysis of engines, transmissions, batteries, or electronic modules.
• Systems Engineering certification, MS or MBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Champion a strong Cost Culture anchored in the three rules of efficient cost management.
• Leverage data sources to identify cost opportunities.
• Prepare Cost Loop workshops with cost opportunities.
• Lead Cost Loop workshops to build bottom-up cost status by commodity.
• Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Cost Estimating to disposition opportunities.
• Develop ad-hoc What-If Cost Studies for strategic decisions.
• Represent the Material Cost Attribute at key program forums and collaborate with cost teams.
