Job summary

Ed Napleton Automotive Group in Wyoming Valley BMW is seeking a License and Title Clerk to support our sales team by processing vehicle registrations and title work. The role requires 1–3 years of license and title experience within an automotive dealership, and familiarity with CDK/ADP Dealer Service systems.

You will verify funds, prepare tax documents, and coordinate with the DMV to ensure accurate, timely title processing while maintaining compliant records.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of License & Title experience preferred.
• Automotive dealership experience preferred.
• Proficiency in CDK/ADP Dealer Service systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
• 18+ years of age to comply with driving policy

Responsibilities

• Processes all vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled.
• Prepares tax and title documents.
• Submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
• Verifies that funds have been collected and the correct lienholder paid off before processing title applications.
• Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete.
• Prepares payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-ins.
• Bills out all dealer trades and prepares Certificates of Origin.
• Maintains a system to verify out-of-state titles.
• Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work; reports to management on status of missing or problem titles and provides a current list to the comptroller at month end
