Job summary

Auto Systems Centers in Akron, OH, is seeking an Automotive Lead Technician to join our high‑performance service and tire center.

You will inspect, diagnose, and repair brakes, suspensions, alignments, and routine maintenance while performing oil changes and tire work. ASE certification is a bonus; a valid driver’s license is required. The role emphasizes dependability, teamwork, and delivering quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of automotive repair experience or training.
• A valid driver's license is required; ASE Certification is a major bonus.
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift/move items weighing over 50 pounds.
• Dependability, teamwork, and quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and perform automotive mechanical services including brakes, struts, shocks, and routine maintenance.
• Complete state-mandated inspections and change oil/filters.
• Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.
• Check fluids and replace worn automotive parts.
