Position Summary

The Lead Technician diagnoses drivability and electrical systems, and leads a team to enhance customer satisfaction. Pay Range: $22.23 - $43.69. We offer a performance-based flat-rate pay system rewarding efficiency and expertise.

Responsibilities

1. Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel, ignition, electrical, suspension, air conditioning, and computer systems.
2. Explain technical diagnoses and repairs to customers.
3. Engage in continuous paid training to stay current with automotive technology.
4. Assist and mentor technicians.
5. Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within two years, with company-paid testing and bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company and customer vehicles.
2. Skilled in brakes, alignment, steering, suspension, general maintenance, and tire repair.
3. Relevant federal, state, and local certifications/licenses.
4. Ability to communicate technical info effectively.
5. Strong reading, writing, and math skills.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Knowledge of electrical systems, engine repair, performance, transmissions, heating/AC.
2. 5+ years of automotive repair or vocational training.
3. ASE certifications in multiple areas, especially brakes, steering, suspension.
