Position Summary

The Lead Technician role requires diagnosing drivability and electrical systems, along with leadership and mentoring skills to enhance customer satisfaction.

Pay Range: $22.23 - $43.69

Technicians enjoy a performance-based pay model rewarding efficiency and expertise.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel, electrical, suspension, air conditioning, and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and repairs to customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology through ongoing training.
• Assist and train other technicians.
• Obtain or maintain A.S.E. certifications within two years, with company-paid testing fees and bonuses for passing exams.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company and customer vehicles.
• Skilled in brakes, alignment, suspension, and general automotive maintenance.
• Relevant certifications/licenses where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical info to non-technical audiences.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical systems, engine repair, transmission, heating/AC.
• 5+ years automotive repair experience or vocational training.
• A.S.E. certifications in multiple areas preferred.
