Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group seeks an Experienced Knowledge-Based Engineering (KBE) Design Engineer to develop and maintain parametric CAD templates and engineering automation frameworks for automotive programs. You will support Body, Structure, Closures, and Exterior systems by aligning engineering requirements, standards, and best practices into scalable CAD models and KBE solutions.
You will collaborate with Architecture, Design Studio, Product Development, and Engineering Release teams
Qualifications
- ABET-accredited B.S. in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace engineering.
- Expert knowledge of TeamCenter, NX and VisProfessional viewer.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- High level of proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
- CAD design expertise.
Responsabilités
- Define parameters and standards of critical systems and integrate into CAD templates.
- Associative parametric modeling.
- CAD model and template setup.
- Requirement section development, application, buy off, change process.
- Adaptation of studio surface data to meet engineering and parametric modeling requirements.
- Highest Level of CAD Skillset, Knowledge Based Engineering (KBE) required.
- Surfacing and Surface breakout expertise required.
- Domain expertise in Body, Structure, Closures, Exterior.
