Job summary

Sika is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead Automotive Technologies projects in damping, sealing, and reinforcing. You will drive timelines, coordinate with customer engineering and factory support, and ensure strong cross-functional collaboration to meet launch targets.

You will manage DFMEA, DVPRs, toolings budgets, and engage with OEM teams to validate solutions, while maintaining PLM spaces and stakeholder communications across global sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• 1-3 years in application engineering or program management.
• Experience with JOEMs including Toyota and Honda is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support materials and application strategy to meet customer requirements.
• Coordinate with Account Management, R&D and Marketing to quote and win new business.
• Manage project timelines from award through 90 days post-launch.
• Liaise with OEM platform engineering teams to resolve platform performance issues.
• Review customer specs and ensure product conformance.
• Lead the project team to bring parts to production; resolve resource issues.
• Maintain PLM project space and align with department procedures.
• Develop relations with Sika Japan and China to meet JOEM requirements.
