Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of experience engineering software-enabled vehicle systems.
• 3+ years reading, interpreting, and authoring technical requirements.
• 4+ years applying systems engineering concepts in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional and global Product Development teams to perform ISO 26262 Functional Safety analysis.
• Develop, maintain, and deliver Functional Safety work products and documentation.
• Work with subject matter experts to identify hazards and define safety requirements.
• Apply Ford safety processes and tools to ensure traceability of safety activities.
• Use MBSE and SysML to improve clarity and reuse of safety analyses.
• Support common safety ratings and training materials across Ford teams.
