Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's level degree in mechanical engineering or a technical field.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in automotive interiors.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and work at manufacturing plants.

Responsibilities

• Create design for automotive interiors.
• Communicate design to internal teams and customers.
• Validate design for fit, function, and manufacturability.
• Launch product according to the project plan.
• Utilize PRP to guide Launch Process.
• Capture lessons learned and improve processes.
• Develop tactical plans to meet deliverables.
• Deliver design within engineering budget and BOM targets.
