Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design automotive interior components using CATIA V5/V6. You will develop and execute interior system requirements, and complete and release interior components, sub-systems, and detailed designs.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering and 1–2 years of experience in automotive interior trim components, with strong knowledge of manufacturing technologies, GD&T, and dimensional engineering to meet performance targets.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 1–2 years in automotive interior trim components or subsystems preferred.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing technologies and feasibility execution to meet system requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design of automotive component parts in CATIA V5 / V6.
• Develop and execute interior system requirements for interior components.
• Complete and release interior components, sub-systems, and detail designs.
• Collaborate with interior system and plastic component suppliers and support vehicle development milestones and prototype/production builds.
