Randstad USA in Greeneville, TN seeks an Injection Molding Process Technician to drive production efficiency in automotive molding operations. You will perform mold changes, machine setups, and troubleshooting to ensure IATF 16949/PPAP compliance and optimal cycle times.

The role emphasizes reducing scrap and maintaining equipment safety, with 3+ years of molding set-up experience and a high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

3+ years of molding set-up experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform mold changes, machine setups, startups, and shutdowns for injection molding equipment.
Establish and verify process parameters to meet quality, productivity, and customer requirements.
Troubleshoot molding, material, tooling, and machine-related issues to minimize downtime.
Monitor production performance and make process adjustments to maintain optimal cycle times and quality standards.
Support APQP, PPAP, and customer-specific automotive quality requirements.
Ensure products meet specifications through first-piece inspections and ongoing process verification.
Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, Tooling, and Production teams to resolve manufacturing concerns.
Perform basic preventative maintenance on molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
Document setup data, process changes, downtime events, and corrective actions.
