Job summary

TI Automotive seeks a Mold Setter / Process Technician to safely set up injection molds, optimize press processes, and troubleshoot equipment to deliver high-quality automotive components. You will drive mold changes, maintain process parameters, and support continuous improvement with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of injection molding setup and processing experience preferred.
Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
Technical training in plastics processing or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

Meet IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards.
Install, remove, and set up molds on injection molding machines.
Ensure molds are clean and prepared for production.
Operate and troubleshoot injection molding machines; perform routine maintenance.
Load raw materials (resin, colorants, additives).
Set and maintain machine process parameters for quality and stability.
Monitor and adjust processes to optimize cycle times and reduce scrap.
Perform first-piece inspections and verify conformance.
Identify and correct molding defects.
Provide technical support to production personnel.
Conduct mold trials and document results.
Maintain molds and equipment; coordinate repairs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process and quality.
