• Examines vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
• Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.

Candidates with routine automotive service experience is encouraged to apply. The Hourly Service Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. This role involves troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring repairs are completed to industry standards

Responsibilities:

• Performs work as outlined on work order in accordance with company standards.
• Exceeds manufacturer's national, zone, and district averages for customer satisfaction and work quality.
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Communicates with service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time
• Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
• Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Road tests vehicles when required.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills with a customer focus and friendly attitude
• Flexible schedule to cover store hours
• Must have a valid driver's license and a motor vehicle record acceptable to ICL Insurance Company requirements
