Job summary

Pep Boys / Mavis Tire is hiring full-time General Service Technicians to join our automotive service centers in the Howell, NJ area. You’ll perform essential maintenance, tire services, and inspections alongside experienced techs, with paid training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs
• Completing oil and filter changes
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Following established safety and service procedures
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles
