Job summary

Pep Boys / Mavis Tire in Williamstown, NJ is seeking full-time General Service Technicians to join Team Mavis. You will perform essential tire and vehicle services and enjoy paid training and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
• Be comfortable working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on automotive environment
• Have a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service
• Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required. Paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Performing flat tire repairs
• Completing oil and filter changes
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Following established safety and service procedures
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles
