Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a General Service Technician at our McKinney, TX location to kickstart an automotive career with a winning team. You'll perform tire services, oil changes, inspections, and basic maintenance while learning from experienced colleagues.

Starting pay is $15-$17 per hour with Sundays off for work-life balance. State Inspector license is highly valued; we encourage applicants pursuing certification and offer growth opportunities within the Sun Auto family.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexibility to work Saturdays; Sundays off noted as benefit.

Responsibilities

• Tire mounting, dismounting, balancing and rotation.
• Oil changes and basic vehicle maintenance.
• Multi-point inspections and documenting vehicle conditions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop.
• Assist with parts pickup and customer transportation as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
