Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Flower Mound, TX is seeking a General Service Technician to learn and grow with an industry leader. You’ll perform tire mounting, oil changes, multi-point inspections, and keep the shop clean and safe while ensuring customer safety on the road.

We offer Sundays off, starting pay of $15–$17 per hour, bi-weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities for career growth; prior automotive experience is preferred but energetic beginners are welcome.

Qualifications

• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Some knowledge of basic automotive systems (preferred)
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Must be at least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Flexibility to work Saturdays (with Sundays off!)

Responsibilities

• Tire mounting, dismounting, balancing & rotation
• Oil changes and other light vehicle maintenance
• Multi-point inspections & documenting vehicle conditions
• Keeping the shop clean, organized, and safe
• Requires driving vehicles in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws
• Pick up Parts and supplies
• Transport customers as needed
• Follows all safety procedures and reports any concerns to direct supervisor
• Supporting team members with other assigned tasks
• Adheres to Sun Auto’s core values, and all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Sun Auto Tire & Service Employee Handbook
