Pep Boys / Mavis Tire is hiring General Service Technicians for our Norristown, PA centers. This full-time role offers competitive weekly pay, weekly incentives, and paid on-the-job training, with opportunities to grow within the company.

As a General Service Technician, you’ll perform tire services and routine maintenance, work with seasoned pros, and help keep customers safe on the road. Prior automotive experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on automotive environment.
• Have a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service.
• Paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Dismount/mount/rotate/balance tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Oil and filter changes.
• Check and top off vehicle fluids.
• Basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identify tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow established safety and service procedures.
• Help ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles.
