Pep Boys is now part of the Mavis Tire family and is hiring General Service Technicians for our Chicago, IL area centers. This full-time role offers paid training, competitive weekly pay, and opportunities for career growth within a large national network.

As a General Service Technician, you’ll perform essential maintenance and tire services, work with experienced pros, and gain hands-on skills in a fast-paced automotive environment with a focus on safety and quality service.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced automotive environment.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality service.

Responsabilités

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Completing oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following established safety and service procedures.
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles.
