Pep Boys / Mavis Tire is hiring General Service Technicians for our service centers in the Richmond, VA area. Full-time positions include paid training, competitive weekly pay, and opportunities to grow within the nation’s largest automotive service organization.

As a General Service Technician, you’ll perform essential tire services and routine maintenance, working alongside experienced technicians. We offer comprehensive benefits and a clear path for advancement into roles like Alignment

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on automotive environment.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Completing oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following established safety and service procedures.
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles.
