Job Description

The Lube and Tire Technician, or General Service Tech, is an entry-level position designed to kickstart your automotive career. You will undergo comprehensive training covering all aspects of your role. As part of the team, you'll perform maintenance services, contribute to delivering exceptional guest experiences, and ensure safe, reliable transportation for our customers.

Pay is based on experience, plus incentives where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Customer service and sales
• Building estimates for automotive work and presenting them to customers
• Supporting store management and supervising staff
• Performing mechanic duties such as tire mounting, repair, and installation
• Wheel removal, tire balancing, patching, and repairs
• Oil changes and lubrication services
• Inspecting and rotating tires
• Basic maintenance like battery replacements
• Training for alignments, brake services, and scheduled maintenance

Compensation: The hourly rate ranges from $14 to $16 based on experience. Additional incentives and compensation are available.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED
• Automotive experience
• Own basic tools or participate in the tool purchase program
• Valid driver’s license
• At least 18 years old
• Positive attitude and teamwork mindset
• Customer service skills
• Ability to work overhead, stand long hours, and lift 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Automotive technician or tire experience
