Hogan Tire & Auto in Woburn, MA seeks motivated Automotive General Service Technicians to build a long-term career. You will perform oil changes, tire work, inspections, and maintain records, while delivering quality workmanship and a great customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn; able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, fluids services, and preventative maintenance.
• Rotate, balance, repair, and install tires.
• Replace air filters, cabin filters, batteries, and wiper blades.
• Conduct vehicle safety and maintenance inspections.
• Maintain accurate service documentation.
• Complete multi-point inspections.
• Identify maintenance and repair opportunities.
• Communicate findings to service advisors and supervisors.
• Help ensure vehicles are safe and road-ready.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Properly use and care for tools and equipment.
• Assist with maintaining shop efficiency and productivity.

What You'll Do

Vehicle Maintenance

• Perform oil changes, fluid services, and preventative maintenance

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record


• Strong work ethic and dependability


• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn


• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous automotive, tire, lube, or mechanical experience


• Automotive technical school training


• ASE certifications (or willingness to obtain)


• Experience using hand tools and shop equipment


• Customer service experience
