Hogan Tire & Auto in Woburn, MA is seeking Automotive General Service Technicians to join our hands-on team and grow a long-term career in automotive service.

We offer training, tools, mentorship, and clear advancement paths. You will perform oil changes, tire services, inspections, and essential maintenance while focusing on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Automotive technical training or ASE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, fluid services, and preventative maintenance.
• Rotate, balance, repair, and install tires.
• Replace air filters, cabin filters, batteries, and wiper blades.
• Conduct vehicle safety and maintenance inspections.
• Maintain accurate service documentation.
• Assist with customer experience and shop efficiency.

What You'll Do

Vehicle Maintenance

• Perform oil changes, fluid services, and preventative maintenance

• Rotate, balance, repair, and install tires

• Replace air filters, cabin filters, batteries, and wiper blades

• Conduct vehicle safety and maintenance inspections

• Maintain accurate service documentation

Vehicle Inspections

• Complete multi-point inspections

• Identify maintenance and repair opportunities

• Communicate findings to service advisors and supervisors

• Help ensure vehicles are safe and road-ready

Teamwork & Customer Experience

• Support experienced technicians with repair services

• Deliver quality workmanship and attention to detail

• Help create an exceptional customer experience

• Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance

Safety & Shop Operations

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Properly use and care for tools and equipment

• Assist with maintaining shop efficiency and productivity

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
