Job summary

Hogan Tire in the United States is seeking motivated Automotive General Service Technicians who are ready to build a long-term career in the automotive industry. From performing oil changes and tire services to inspections and customer-focused teamwork, you will learn with mentorship and advance through internal training while helping keep vehicles safe and road-ready.

You'll work on vehicle maintenance, inspections, and shop operations, with opportunities to grow into senior technician roles as

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong work ethic and dependability.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• ASE certifications (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
• Automotive technical school training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, fluid services, and preventative maintenance.
• Rotate, balance, repair, and install tires.
• Replace air filters, cabin filters, batteries, and wiper blades.
• Conduct vehicle safety and maintenance inspections.
• Maintain accurate service documentation.
• Complete multi-point inspections.
• Identify maintenance and repair opportunities.
• Communicate findings to service advisors and supervisors.
• Help ensure vehicles are safe and road-ready.
• Support experienced technicians with repair services.
• Deliver quality workmanship and attention to detail.
• Help create an exceptional customer experience.
• Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Properly use and care for tools and equipment.
• Assist with maintaining shop efficiency and productivity.
