Job summary

AAA Club Alliance is actively hiring a General Service Technician to join our fast-paced shop team. You will perform basic automotive maintenance, like oil changes and tire work, while building skills for higher-level technician roles and earning competitive pay.

We offer paid training and opportunities for ASE certifications, with full-time schedules typical of a shop environment. This role requires reliability and the ability to work in a team-based setting.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of automotive systems.
• Familiarity with PC-based diagnostic tools is a plus.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with the team.

Responsibilities

• Mount, balance, and install tires.
• Perform maintenance services including oil changes, fluid flush and replacement, belt and hose replacement, battery testing and replacement, and general automotive repairs.
• Conduct visual vehicle inspections and document findings.
• Maintain and clean shop equipment, including servicing portable fluid drains according to shop guidelines.
• Continuously build automotive knowledge and technical skills for career growth.
• Other duties as assigned.

Automotive General Service Technician – Hiring Now | AAA Club Alliance

AAA Club Alliance is actively hiring a General Service Technician to join our team! If you have hands-on experience with basic automotive maintenance and want to grow your career in a fast-paced shop, we want to hear from you.

At AAA, we provide the training and support to help you build your skills and advance into higher-level technician roles.

Location: 2223 York Road, Timonium, MD 21093

What We Offer:

• Competitive Pay: $17.18 – $24.17/hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law.

• Schedule: Full-time, 5 days/week (Mondays, Fridays & Saturdays are often required). Sundays off every week, plus one other day off based on business needs.

• Training & Growth: Paid training, Paid ASE Certifications & opportunities to advance into higher-level technician roles.

Your Impact as an Automotive General Service Technician:

• Mount, balance, and install tires.

What You’ll Bring:

• Basic knowledge of automotive systems; familiarity with PC-based diagnostic tools a plus.

• Prior automotive maintenance or repair experience strongly preferred.

• Valid driver’s license strongly preferred.

• Strong communication skills for collaborating with the team.

• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for extended periods.

• Authorized to work in the USA.

• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings if offered a position (background, drug, fitness for duty).
