Job summary

Delta World Tire Company is seeking a General Service Technician in Mississippi to perform non-technical service tasks such as oil changes and tire-related services alongside ASE Certified Technicians. This entry-level role offers training to advance toward ASE automotive technician certification, with the potential for growth within the company.

Responsibilities include safekeeping the shop, documenting vehicle conditions, and coordinating with the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive experience preferred, but energetic individuals with a passion for cars will be considered.
• Must be motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work Monday - Saturday; valid driver’s license; pass pre-employment drug test, MVR, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. from vendors and/or the corporate office using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner obeying all traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections following company and state guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
