Job summary

Pep Boys is now part of the Mavis Tire family and is seeking full-time General Service Technicians in the Niles, IL area. You’ll perform essential maintenance and tire services, learning hands-on skills alongside experienced automotive professionals.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Paid training is provided.
• Previous automotive experience is a plus, but not required.
• Be reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs.
• Completing oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following established safety and service procedures.
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles.
