Job summary

Mavis Tire in Chalmette, LA is hiring full-time General Service Technicians. You will perform tire services, basic maintenance, and oil changes, with hands-on training and opportunities to grow your automotive career.

No prior experience is required; paid training is provided. This role offers competitive weekly pay, weekly incentive compensation, and a $800 new hire bonus, with paths to Alignment Technician and other leadership roles within the team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with safety procedures and teamwork in an automotive setting.
• Previous automotive experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.
• Performing flat tire repairs and oil and filter changes.
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids.
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Identifying maintenance concerns and ensuring quality service.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Following safety and service procedures and completing work timely.
