Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service in Surprise, AZ is seeking a General Service Technician to perform non-technical automotive tasks such as oil changes, tire mounting, and basic maintenance, while also driving customers, picking up parts, and keeping the shop clean and organized.

Compensation starts at $15.15/hr and up, with a Tool and Boot Program, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation and sick time, 6 holidays, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k)

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• General understanding of under the hood, mechanical and under carriage assemblies is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services
• Utilizes the company’s Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order to document vehicle condition
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop including service area and showroom
• Drives vehicles safely and courteously and transports customers/parts as needed
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisor
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends as needed
