Job summary
Sun Auto Tire & Service in Maricopa County is hiring a General Service Technician to perform non-technical automotive repairs such as oil changes, tire and wheel services, and light maintenance. You will also drive customers, pick up parts, and keep the shop clean and organized.
The role requires a valid driver's license and being at least 18 years old; prior experience with basic automotive knowledge is preferred. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for advancement.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- General understanding of under the hood, mechanical and under carriage assemblies is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
- Performs oil changes and other basic services
- Documents vehicle condition using Multi-point Inspection/Repair Order
- Maintains shop cleanliness in service area, showroom and exterior
- Drives vehicles safely and courteously, obeying traffic laws
- Transports customers and picks up parts/supplies from vendors or office
- Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable
- Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to supervisor
- Works flexible schedules including weekends as needed
- Adheres to Sun Auto’s policies and handbook
