Responsibilities include:

  • Providing superior customer service to walk-in and phone-contact customers.
  • Greeting customers and maintaining friendly contact throughout their shopping experience.
  • Implementing suggestive selling techniques at checkout and assisting with problem-solving.
  • Maintaining orderly files and accurate records of transactions, including cash drawer management.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and store appearance.
  • Coordinating warehouse orders to ensure timely customer service.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Not responsible for supervising employees.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience, preferably with a strong customer service background.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Prior automotive experience and knowledge of automotive parts.
  • Two to three years of customer service experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Basic math skills and ability to interpret data and graphs.
  • Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle routine and somewhat complex tasks, manage multiple projects, and work independently with broad guidance.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Travel may be required, including overnight stays.
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures, lighting, and noise.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 75 pounds, and perform other physical activities.
