Goodyear is seeking an Automotive Technician for a 4-day day-shift role in District Heights, MD, performing preventive maintenance on fleet DOT vehicles and delivering essential services at client sites.

The position requires DOT brake certification, a valid license, and a DOT medical.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience performing qualified DOT regulated inspections, preventative maintenance, and brake related services.
• Must have DOT Brake Certification, or be willing to obtain within 30 days of hire or we'll help you obtain it within 30 days.
• Must have a valid driver's license and meet DOT physical requirements, including being at least 21 years of age.
• Preferred qualifications include ASE certifications, a high school diploma or GED, and experience diagnosing vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Servicing delivery vans and DOT vehicles for scheduled preventative maintenance at a client site.
• Perform line technician services such as oil changes and tire services, routine inspections/maintenance, system diagnostics, brake repairs, fluid exchanges/flushes, and tire installation.
