Job summary

UPS is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Professional to sustain a safe, reliable, and cost-efficient vehicle fleet across multiple shifts and locations. You will oversee asset care, control costs, coordinate with technicians, and drive audits to meet safety and regulatory standards.

The role may supervise others and requires scheduling preventive maintenance, reviewing results, and identifying cost-saving strategies. A Bachelor's degree and ability to travel up to 25% are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent.
• Willing to travel up to 25%.
• Ability to understand policies and procedures within business operations.
• Ability to manage equipment repair and oversee the correction of problems with tools, machinery, and other standard technical equipment.
• Ability to manage inspections, physical assets and relationships with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Supports automotive safety and regulatory compliance by conducting facility audits and coordinating safety and regulatory training.
• Ensures adequate inventory levels (e.g., parts, tires, etc.) to support business processes.
• Works with other groups to prevent, identify, and resolve equipment and service problems.
• Adheres to purchasing limits, expense approval procedures, and equipment disposal guidelines.
• Reviews and approves automotive expenses.
• Determines employee training needs to produce continuous development plans
• Conducts performance evaluations and resolves individual and group performance issues.
