Job summary

UPS is seeking a qualified maintenance supervisor to maintain a safe, reliable fleet and oversee vendor relationships. You will schedule inspections, monitor repairs, and conduct equipment audits across shifts and locations to manage costs and quality.

You will supervise staff, review expenses, and coordinate training to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role requires up to 25% travel and a Bachelor’s degree in automotive repair or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent in automotive repair is preferred.
• Willing to travel up to 25%.
• M-F 7am to 5pm; may change based on job needs.

Responsibilities

• Supports automotive safety and regulatory compliance by conducting facility audits and coordinating safety and regulatory training.
• Ensures adequate inventory levels to support business processes.
• Works with other groups to prevent, identify, and resolve equipment and service problems.
• Adheres to purchasing limits, expense approval procedures, and equipment disposal guidelines.
• Reviews and approves automotive expenses.
• Determines employee training needs to produce continuous development plans.
• Conducts performance evaluations and resolves individual and group performance issues.
