Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in automotive fabrication, metal fabrication, welding, or vehicle assembly.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and fabrication blueprints.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, modify, and assemble automotive components, structures, frames, brackets, and vehicle systems.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD models, and technical specifications.
  • Cut, bend, shape, drill, grind, and finish metal materials to dimensions and tolerances.
  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other materials.
  • Build prototypes, test fixtures, vehicle modifications, and production support equipment.
  • Install fabricated components on vehicles/engine dynos and verify fit, form, and function.
  • Work with engineers, technicians, and production teams to support development activities.
  • Maintain quality standards and perform inspections on completed work.
  • Troubleshoot fabrication issues and recommend design improvements.
  • Operate fabrication equipment safely and maintain shop standards.
