Job summary

Group 1 Automotive is seeking a Finance & Insurance Intern to join our F&I team. The intern will gain hands-on experience supporting financing options, protections, and regulatory compliance within a large automotive retailer.

The internship provides exposure to financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration with dealership leadership and finance professionals.

Qualifications

• Junior status currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Preferred minimum of a 3.00 cumulative GPA.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with lender and provider cost analysis.
• Conduct research on industry trends and market dynamics.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as assigned by the finance team.
