Conicelli is seeking an Express Technician to deliver swift, reliable service in a busy shop environment. You will perform essential maintenance tasks that keep vehicles safe and on the road, contributing to customer satisfaction and the efficiency of the service department.

The role emphasizes technical skills, attention to detail, and teamwork to ensure high-quality, quick turnaround service for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an automotive vocational program or technical training is a plus.
• Previous experience in an express service bay or similar fast-paced automotive environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs efficient and accurate Oil Changes, ensuring proper fluid levels and disposal.
• Executes precise Tire Rotation to maximize tire life and vehicle performance.
• Conducts thorough Multi-Point Inspection to identify potential maintenance or repair needs.
• Completes comprehensive Fluid Checks and tops off or replaces as necessary.
• Performs timely Filter Replacement for air, cabin, and fuel systems.
• Carries out detailed Brake Inspection to assess component wear and safety.
• Conducts accurate Battery Testing and recommends service or replacement.
• Contributes to Automotive Maintenance by identifying and reporting additional service needs.
• Adheres to all Shop Safety protocols and uses Automotive Tools safely.

Required Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an automotive vocational program or technical training is a plus.

Experience

• Previous experience in an express service bay or similar fast-paced automotive environment.
• Proven ability to perform basic automotive maintenance tasks.

Knowledge/Skills

• Demonstrates proficiency in performing Oil Changes, Tire Rotation, and Multi-Point Inspection.
• Possesses a strong understanding of Fluid Checks and Filter Replacement.
• Exhibits knowledge of Brake Inspection and Battery Testing procedures.
• Understands fundamental principles of Automotive Maintenance.
• Applies excellent Shop Safety practices at all times.
• Proficiently uses standard Automotive Tools and equipment.
• Works efficiently and effectively in a team-oriented setting.
• Maintains a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• ASE certifications (e.g., A1, A4, A5).
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements/Work Conditions

• Regularly stands, walks, bends, and stoops for extended periods.
• Lifts and carries objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Works in a shop environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and varying temperatures.
• Requires manual dexterity and good visual acuity.
