Job summary

Holler Nissan Lexington is looking for an Express Service Technician to perform vehicle repairs and routine maintenance in a fast-paced shop in the Lexington area. The role involves using dealership tools and adhering to factory standards to ensure quality service.

You will work with a team, handle oil changes, fluid checks, and light diagnostics, and contribute to a streamlined service flow. A sign-on bonus may be offered and opportunities for growth exist within the Holler Classic family.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in automotive repair and maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Two years of experience as a technician’s helper or in an automotive setting.
• Good judgment and reliability.
• Willingness to pass background screening and obtain necessary credentials.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance per dealer and factory standards.
• Utilize Hunter equipment and manufacturer tools to diagnose and service vehicles.
• Inspect vehicles, replace fluids, oil and air filters, and lubricate moving parts.
• Assist service advisors with MPI inspections and vehicle diagnostics.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of the shop and adhere to scheduling requirements.

Automotive Express Service Technician- Holler Nissan of Lexington

The Express Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. We have the latest Hunter equipment throughout the shop and service areas. We also have all manufacturer tools organized and catalogued for ease of use.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

• Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil.
• Inspect fluid levels of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, rear axle housings, and shackles
• Check air pressure of tires
• Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants
• Inject grease into units, such as springs, universal joints and steering knuckles, using hand or compressed-air powered grease gun when available
• Add water to radiator and battery
• Replace oil and air filters
• Inspect all vehicles for additional repairs needed
• Completes thorough MPI inspection and record findings to service advisor
• Requires walking or standing for an extended period of time

Minimum Qualifications:

• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
• Two years of experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice in an automobile dealership or Automotive Technical School
• Good judgment
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Pass background screening requirement
• Reliable transportation
