Job summary

Holler-Classic Family of Dealerships is seeking an Automotive Express Service Technician for Holler Nissan of St. Andrews. You will perform repair and maintenance per dealer and factory standards using Hunter equipment and factory tools.

A sign-on bonus contributes to long-term savings, with comprehensive benefits and an equal opportunity workplace. Part-time associates must be available to work nights and weekends if scheduled; full-time positions may also be available.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Two years of experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice in a dealership or technical school.
• Good judgment and reliability.
• Pass background screening; reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Drain oil from crankcase and refill with oil as required.
• Inspect fluid levels of steering, transmission, and related components.
• Check tire air pressure and inspect for wear.
• Lubricate moving parts with appropriate lubricants.
• Grease joints and springs with hand or powered tools.
• Add water to radiator and battery; inspect and replace filters.
• Inspect vehicles for additional repairs and complete MPI as needed.
• Walk/stand for extended periods; work schedule may include Sundays.
• Coordinate with service advisors and maintain stocked parts.

The Express Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. We have the latest Hunter equipment throughout the shop and service areas. We also have all manufacturer tools organized and catalogued for ease of use.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

• Drain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil.
• Inspect fluid levels of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, rear axle housings, and shackles
• Check air pressure of tires
• Lubricate moving parts with specified lubricants
• Inject grease into units, such as springs, universal joints and steering knuckles, using hand or compressed-air powered grease gun when available
• Add water to radiator and battery
• Replace oil and air filters
• Inspect all vehicles for additional repairs needed
• Completes thorough MPI inspection and record findings to service advisor
• Requires walking or standing for an extended period of time

Minimum Qualifications:

• Knowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
• Two years of experience as a technician’s helper or apprentice in an automobile dealership or Automotive Technical School
• Good judgment
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Pass background screening requirement
• Reliable transportation
