Job summary

T/CCI Manufacturing LLC, located in Decatur, IL, is seeking an Engineering Lab Technician II to support our Decatur operation. This mid-level role involves advanced instrumentation, test operations, and calibration in a safety-conscious lab environment.

Responsibilities include executing high-level testing, maintaining equipment, and generating precise test reports while contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of automotive experience or in a related field required.
• Intermediate knowledge of instrumentation, calibration, and DAQ systems preferred.
• Intermediate understanding of refrigerant air conditioning systems.
• Advanced fabrication, electrical, and mechanical skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with PLCs and CAN Bus protocol.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety policies and maintain certifications (e.g., MACS 609, ASE xEV Level Two).
• Maintain clean and organized workspace and tools.
• Follow 5S guidelines.
• Perform system recovery/charging, system flushing, and understand refrigerant properties.
