Job summary

Singer Vehicle Design in Torrance, CA is seeking an Electronics Technician who brings passion and precision to restoring Porsche 911s.

You will install motorsport-grade harnesses and electronic components, assemble and fit parts, and start the vehicle while ensuring it runs within build parameters. Some overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of automotive and automotive electrical system experience.
• Experience with electronic tools, crimpers, strippers, soldering irons, and heat guns.
• Experience with basic hand tools, cutting tools, air tools, and electric grinders.
• Bonus points for automotive wiring training or prior experience in rapid growth environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components necessary for installation on vehicles.
• Install chassis harnesses and electronic components from headlight to taillight.
• Fit and finish components onto vehicles.
• Initial start of the vehicle; adjusts items as necessary.
• Observe that the engine runs within set build parameters and effectively diagnoses issues.
• Diagnose electronic issues.

Location & Schedule:

This position is onsite in Torrance, CA and the core schedule is Monday - Friday 5am-1:30pm with some overtime as needed
