Job summary

Singer Vehicle Design in Torrance, CA is seeking an experienced Vehicle Restoration Technician (Second Shift) to join our assembly team. You’ll build and finish components for Porsche 911 restorations, diagnose issues, and collaborate with Leads and teammates to keep projects on track.

ASE-certified or working toward it, you should have at least 5 years in automotive restoration, dealership, or manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in automotive restoration, dealership, or manufacturing.
• ASE-certified or actively working toward certification.
• Bonus for experience with early Porsche models.

What You’ll Do:

• Assemble, fit, and finish components that bring our vehicles to life.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot build issues and find creative solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Leads, Supervisors, and teammates to keep projects on track.
• Uphold the highest standards of quality in every detail.
• ASE-certified (or working toward it).
• At least 5 years of experience in automotive (restoration, dealership, or manufacturing).
• Obsessed with details, tools, and the art of getting things just right .
• Bonus points if you’ve worked with early Porsche models.
• A true team player with a positive attitude.

Location & Schedule:
This position is onsite in Torrance, CA. The schedule for this role is Monday – Friday 1pm- 9:30pm and is eligible for a $1.50/hr shift differential. During initial training, you may need to work first shift which is 5am – 1:30pm.

The starting pay range for this position is between $25 - 40 per hour plus bonus. Actual compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
