Job summary

Island Tech Services is hiring a full-time Auto Installer to build and outfit emergency vehicles with lighting, sirens, radios, partitions, and other components. You will wire, test, and troubleshoot automotive electronics while adhering to safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED (technical training preferred) and experience in vehicle upfitting. Pay ranges from $19 to $25 per hour with opportunities for growth and ongoing training, in a hands-on team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical/trade school preferred.
• Experience with vehicle upfitting or automotive electronics is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of wiring, electrical systems and diagnostic procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Detail-oriented with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
