Job summary

Global Public Safety, LLC is seeking an Emergency Vehicle Installer to join our full-time team in the Orlando area. You will install, test, and service 12-volt emergency vehicle equipment across a variety of vehicles, including police, fire, and medical units.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, repair, and remove 12‑V emergency vehicle equipment including light bars, sirens, radios, speakers, and more.
• Configure units for a range of vehicles and service existing fleets.
• Disassemble/reassemble interiors and plan wiring routes for safe installations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues using 12‑V systems knowledge.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and assist with shop functions.
• Complete documentation promptly and accurately.

Position

Emergency Vehicle Installer (Full Time)

Schedule: Full‑time, Monday – Friday, with occasional overtime or weekend hours for urgent projects.

What You’ll Do

• Install, test, repair, and remove 12‑volt emergency vehicle equipment—including light bars, sirens, radios, speakers, antennas, routers, video cameras, laptops, consoles, K‑9 cages, and more.
• Work on a wide range of vehicles (sedans, SUVs, motorcycles, ATVs), configuring new units and servicing existing fleets.
• Disassemble and reassemble vehicle interiors and plan efficient wiring routes for safe, reliable installations.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve electrical and equipment issues using your expertise in 12‑V systems.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace and assist with essential shop functions as needed.
• Complete all required documentation promptly and accurately.

Qualifications

• Entry‑level and experienced 12‑V electrical installers encouraged to apply; training available for those with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
• Proficiency with tools and safe work practices.
• Solid understanding of 12‑V automotive wiring and electrical systems.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail; able to follow directions, prioritize tasks, and work well within small teams.
• Experience in emergency vehicle installations or automotive/electronics fields is a plus.

Working Conditions

• Work inside and outside vehicles in a busy shop environment.
• Regular lifting of objects up to 50 lb.
• Occasional local travel for equipment pickups, deliveries, or on‑site installations.
• Some overtime or weekend hours may be required to meet critical project deadlines.
