Qualifications

• Experience with automotive electronics and test procedures.

Responsibilities

• Participates in new electronics product designs based on customer requests or internal development.
• Understands customer procedures and implements or adapts development to meet those requirements.
• Implements new designs into production by creating designs and following the entire development process.
• Assists the Quality Department in analyzing warranty and other customer returns.
• Works with leadership to develop long-range and short-range goals for self and department.
• Prepares product or system layout and detailed schematics/drawings as required.
• Analyzes test data and reports to determine if design meets specifications.
• Liaison with suppliers for quotes, specifications and samples.
• Updates / Maintains current Nidec products through research and recommendation for improvement design opportunities of electronic modules and components.
• Supports / Implements the ISO14001 Environmental Policy as it pertains to work activities.
