Job summary

Nidec Motor Corporation is seeking a Sr. Embedded Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and support of motor control electronics and accessories.

You will participate in testing, documentation, and cross‑functional collaboration with manufacturing, PCB, and application groups to optimize product designs. The role emphasizes experience in power electronics, embedded software in C and assembly, and working with multiple protocols and high‑voltage levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience required.
• Master's degree in Electronic Engineering preferred.
• 5 years of applicable experience in product development.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of motor control electronics through all product life cycle stages.
• Prepare design specifications, perform analyses, and guide PCB layout and BOM creation.
• Oversee prototype, validation, and certification phases of projects.
• Implement OEM-specific hardware/software feature requirements.
• Create and maintain project documentation (design requirements, test procedures, drawings).
• Collaborate with manufacturing to introduce designs into production on schedule.
