Job Summary

The Electrician installs and connects electrical systems on heavy trucks, ensuring proper operation of electrical components.

Essential Duties

• Install and connect electrical wiring systems and components
• Follow blueprints to install wiring and electrical equipment
• Perform functional tests and troubleshoot issues
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Communicate effectively with team members
• Attend work regularly and perform other assigned duties

Minimum Qualifications

• At least six months of related experience

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in Automotive Technology, Diesel, Electro-Mechanical, or related field
• Experience with automotive or truck electrical repair and diagnostics
• Ability to read electrical schematics and use hand tools
• Knowledge of AC/DC electricity

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting at least 35 lbs, standing, bending, and wearing PPE
• Specific vision and hearing abilities required
