Job summary

Henderson Products, Inc. in Bucyrus, OH is seeking an Installation Technician for our automotive electrical bay to install, service, inspect and troubleshoot lights and electrical components on heavy-duty work trucks.

You will read schematics and diagrams, perform shop math, and work hands-on with wiring, weather-pack connectors, and diagnostics to ensure precise, reliable electrical systems. This role will relocate to Galion, OH later this year with growth opportunities in a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree from vocational/ trade school preferred.
• Experience with automotive electrical wiring is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, inspect and troubleshoot lights and electrical systems on heavy-duty trucks.
• Read schematics, diagrams and blueprints for wiring tasks.
• Perform shop math and hands-on electrical work in the bay.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in the electrical department.

Day Shift Hours! Monday – Friday: 5:30am to 4:00pm

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE:

As an Installation Technician in our electrical (automotive) department, you will play a crucial role in the Electrical bay. Your responsibilities include installing, servicing, inspecting, and troubleshooting lights, electrical systems, and components, all contributing to the completion of heavy‑duty work truck builds. (This position is in the automotive field not Household or commercial building electrical field.)

You should have knowledge of Deutsche connections, weather pack, butt splice, heat shrink, general wire routing, and standard wiring diagrams. The role also involves diagnostic and repair work. You will need to read schematics, diagrams, blueprints, perform shop math, and demonstrate hands‑on experience with electrical and wiring tasks.

Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the precision and reliability of our automotive electrical systems.

Education And Work Experience (Preferred)

• High School Degree/GED
• Associate Degree from Vocational/Trade school, or equivalent work experience helpful.
