BWI North America, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Hardware Engineer to design and develop ECU hardware for braking and suspension systems, from schematic design through validation and production support. The role involves designing ECU circuits, selecting components, running tests, and supporting EMC and safety analyses, with collaboration across software and systems teams.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in electronics hardware design, preferably automotive.
• Experience with schematic capture and circuit simulation tools.
• Hands-on lab skills with oscilloscopes, power supplies, and other test equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Design ECU circuits, including power supplies, microcontroller interfaces, sensor inputs, and driver circuits.
• Select components and perform circuit analysis (worst-case, thermal, derating).
• Work with PCB layout designers and review layouts.
• Develop and execute hardware test plans; debug prototypes in the lab.
• Support EMC, environmental, and reliability testing.
• Support functional safety hardware analyses (FMEDA, hardware metrics).
• Work with software and systems engineers on hardware/software integration.
• Support suppliers and manufacturing through production launch.
