BWI North America, Inc. in Moraine, Ohio is seeking an Electronics Hardware Engineer to design and develop ECU hardware for braking and suspension systems, from schematic design through validation and production support.

You will work with PCB layout, develop hardware test plans, support EMC and reliability testing, and collaborate with software and systems teams to ensure robust hardware and seamless integration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in electronics hardware design.
• Experience with schematic capture and circuit simulation tools.
• Hands-on lab skills with oscilloscopes, power supplies, and test equipment.

Responsabilités

• Design ECU circuits, including power supplies and microcontroller interfaces.
• Select components and perform circuit analysis (worst-case, thermal, derating).
• Review layouts with PCB designers and ensure design integrity.
• Develop and execute hardware test plans and debug prototypes.
• Support EMC, environmental, and reliability testing.
• Contribute to functional safety hardware analyses (FMEDA, hardware metrics).
• Collaborate with software and systems engineers on hardware/software integration.
• Support suppliers and manufacturing through production launch.
